Attorney Samantha Pryor was born and raised in northeast Denver, Colorado. After graduating from Montbello High School in 2000, she attended Clark Atlanta University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a double concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Upon graduating with honors from Clark Atlanta University in 2004, attorney Pryor returned to her roots in Denver, CO, and attended law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She was selected as a student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic and represented indigent clients in civil protective order cases and landlord-tenant matters in court. She has also interned with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel, the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and Isaacson Rosenbaum, PC, a former, prominent Denver law firm.

Attorney Pryor was admitted to practice law on October 22, 2007. After earning her law license, she was hired as an associate attorney at Hall & Evans, LLC, a prestigious insurance defense law firm in Denver, Colorado. As an associate attorney, she established valuable relationships and gained a wealth of experience in civil and commercial litigation matters.

Attorney Pryor formed The Halliburton Law Firm, LLC, on September 4, 2012. Since forming The Halliburton Law Firm, LLC, she has successfully represented hundreds of businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil lawsuits and appeals, as well as in negotiating complex business matters, severance agreements, contracts, and pre-litigation matters.

Beyond her courtroom advocacy, legal publishers rely on attorney Pryor for her litigation insight. LexisNexis partnered with her to author the Practice Guide: Colorado Pretrial Civil Litigation: 2021 version. LexisNexis also interviewed attorney Pryor for International Women’s Day in 2022. To help educate employees on their rights, Super Lawyers partnered with attorney Pryor for her article, “Wrongful Termination vs. Unfair Treatment: What’s the Legal Difference?”

In The Community

Commitment to the community is extremely important to our team. Attorney Samantha Pryor has a long history of community involvement outside of her work as a lawyer. She and her husband, along with other community leaders, advocated tirelessly for the rights of Black and other minority students within Denver Public Schools, forcing substantial change throughout the district.

As part of that advocacy and community work, they founded the Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy in 2019. Modeled on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the Academy instills a sense of pride and agency in its pupils, who are students of color historically neglected by Denver’s school system. It prepares them to pursue their educational and career goals through partnerships with universities across the United States.

Attorney Pryor is passionate about supporting future talent. She served as an INROADS mentor and frequent panel speaker. At the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, she volunteered as a moot court judge. She also helped incorporate the National Youth Football League, offering pro bono legal counsel to support young athletes.

On her personal time, attorney Pryor loves the arts, spending time with her family, and enjoying the outdoors.   She also loves watching sports, and she is a devote Denver Broncos and Nuggets fan.
